Jab, cross and hook for Cancer research UK

Charitable causes are extremely important to us at Coplus; which is why when Kieran and Noah said that they were taking part in Ultra White Collar Boxing on the 21st of March, we were thrilled to have the chance to support them.

All participants are given 8 weeks of free training to prepare for the match. This involves heading to the boxing gym every Monday and Wednesday after work to learn the most effective ways to jab, cross and hook; whilst spaaring with their potential rivals.

The training has proved tough yet enlightening for both of our contenders. Kieran confesses that it has been extremely difficult and that the level of fitness required to box is something he ‘definitely wasn’t ready for’. Noah is considering the process a personal challenge as he has previously struggled to keep fit due to his diabetes, and is tackling the challenge head on.

After the 8 weeks of training participants are fairly matched based on weight, fitness, ability and age to ensure a fair, yet competitive match.

Kieran and Noah have both been sponsored by Coplus, and we will be proud to see our Coplus logo across their robes on the 21st!
