Insurance Post revealed the shortlist for this year’s Claims Awards and Coplus is a finalist in two categories – Personal Lines Team of the Year and The Training Award.
These competitive awards are a “fantastic night for the claims community” and showcase the innovation and customer focus of organisation across the insurance industry.
The Training Award
The Training Award category requires business to show how training has contributed to achieving the objectives of the business. At Coplus we understand the importance of our people in the claims experience we are providing our partners. Training is a significant part of how our people deliver that experience and how they work together.
Our new Claims Management System has helped us streamline training as everything is controlled through our customer triangle principle. However it has also given us the opportunity to really change our whole approach.
In 208 we undertook a major review of how training for new claims handlers is delivered and moved to a new agile training approach which has achieved significant benefits.
Personal Lines Team of the Year
The Personal Lines Team category is based on successes over the previous year, looking for examples of technical ability, innovative ideas and a quality service to claimants.
As the outsourced claims partner for Adrian Flux for over 8 years we are trusted to represent the Flux brands. Specifically in 2018 we have focussed on removing complexity in the motor claims customer journey to give a simple process which removes duplication for the claimant.
Initiatives with insurers, supply chain partners and our own internal improvement programmes have contributed to the concept we refer to as First Call Resolution, our aim for all motor claim journeys.
Awards night is on 19 June at The Brewery. We are eagerly awaiting the results. Our best wishes to all of this year’s nominees.
