Cobalt launch of Covid-19 parts sourcing solution
Cobalt, the motor claims management brand from Coplus has bought much needed assistance to the accident repair industry through a new parts sourcing service.
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic many bodyshops have closed, with one key problem being that of accessing necessary parts to complete work. Almost half of the respondents to a recent survey by the National Body Repair Association said they were experiencing some difficulties regarding the supply of paint and materials, aftermarket and green parts.
Our team worked with NBRA to develop this solution which utilises the Cobalt technology and infrastructure to connect any company facing parts supply issues; vehicle manufacturers, insurers or repairers, with parts options such as OE (‘Original Equipment’), aftermarket and green or salvaged parts.
By searching an extensive nationwide network of Cobalt partners for any specific items on a case by case basis we hope to be able to connect those with part supply problems to what they need. It’s very easy to access through an email instruction with details of the vehicle and part(s) required for a 1 business day turn around (Monday to Friday).
