Coplus, the outsourced claims provider based in Norwich, has been appointed by Marmalade to provide First Notification of Loss (FNOL) and motor claims services in a new 3 year contract.
Adding Marmalade to the expanding list of brokers for whom Coplus provide motor claims services, the company estimate holding around 25% market share. Many of the recent successes, including the new relationship with Marmalade can be attributed to a programme of insurer engagement.
Jason Tripp, Managing Director at Coplus commented “As an outsourced partner we want to be integrated into our broker/insurer relationship in order to add value for both parties. We know that these relationships aren’t always easy so we’ve opened our doors to insurers and invited them in to see what we do. Through these discussions we’ve gained a better common understanding which has helped us align our processes with insurers. This is a win for all parties, a better experience for the customer, less frictional costs for insurers and more value for the broker.”
The deal with Coplus is completely new for Marmalade who did not previously have an outsourced claims partner. Working with new underwriters has provided the opportunity to develop a white label service with Coplus that gives Marmalade more control over the claims journey and stronger association with the Marmalade brand.
“As this is the first time many of our customers have experienced the insurance process it is important to us that should they need to make a claim they have the best possible team to guide them. We are delighted to be working with Coplus in this new chapter of Marmalade’s growth.” Crispin Moger, CEO, Marmalade.
